Most of us know the feeling: a closet full of clothes, and still nothing that feels quite right. More often than not, the missing piece is the jacket. The right one turns jeans and a knit into an outfit. It carries you from a cool morning into the evening. It's the first thing people see and the last thing you put on.

Yet finding one that felt considered, without a designer price, was harder than it should have been. So we set out to build the edit we wished existed.
